Quiet Days in clichy

aka Jours Tranquillis a Clichy

Award winning Claude Chabrol's seductive film graphically documents the erotic and titillating  orgies and decedent parties in the promiscuous  red light district of 1930's Paris.

Following Phillip Kaufman's critically acclaimed erotic masterpiece Henry & June-which depicted the true-life amorous affairs of Henry Miller, Quiet Days in Clichy is based on the provocative works of the renowned  American author.

Nigel Hays stars as Alfred the Womanizing photographer who takes up residents with an impoverished writer named Joe, played by Andrew McCarthy. Together they spend days at Club Melody, a place of ill-repute where prostitutes satisfy the passions and desires of their clients with delicious results!
